Cooperstown has received $270,000 through their NY Forward award to establish a Small
Projects Fund. These funds are designed to assist local property and business owners in
enhancing their buildings through projects such as façade improvements, interior renovations,
and the activation of upper-story residential spaces. Projects awarded through this fund will
typically range from $25,000 to $100,000, covering up to 75% of the total project costs. This
initiative aims to stimulate economic growth, preserve historic character, and enhance the
vibrancy of Cooperstown.
